small goals

The month of March has some BIG painting goals. Week one: finish butterfly 5x7. Goal accomplished!

Step two complete! 

The quilt top is together. I'll take a break from sewing for a bit then come back to edge it and tie it together. :-) 

February still life

This is my charcoal series of objects that are supposed  to give light, dead light bulbs, empty oil lamps, unlit candle, broken flashlight. To add some fun i painted little glow worms crawling around the bulbs and lamp oil reservoirs. One little guy is curled up like a candle flame, clowning around. Still life is good practice but they have to be fun too!
