Coloring 4 School

Coloring pages count as art right?
Who cares as long as the final work of art makes you think or feel something!
So answer the question, How do you stay fit? Do you treadmill while reading blogs?
I'd like to hear from you!

finished- again

Koi Coasters now available. I wanted them to look finished from all angles so I've painted the back & sides. Continue checking our Shalom Arts Esty site for new art.

Sold!

Say goodbye to "Praise" from 2014. It has been sold due to our Shalom Arts initiative at Shepherd. It feels great to sell a piece once in a while.

pseudo finished

When we started Shalom Arts I was inspired by another artist to create some coasters. These are four sets awaiting a protective coat. They are not 100% done but the paining part is done. Look for finished koi coaster sets on

Treb Art ready

This painting is being declared done!
Even thought it is not perfect. I'm done fighting with the orange to become opaque.
This makes three paintings ready for Trebuchet Art. Yup, think about it... you'll love it. And yes, I'll make videos.

Now on to new artwork!

more Health support

As you may know I work at a school in the cafeteria. I am also working to support the Health teacher and reinforce the concepts she is working on. This month topic "Is sugar bad?"

what to do on a Sunday afternoon

Today I went to Garfield Park Conservatory to draw for a few hours. I ended up with a nice rock study and a great color study of the waterfall. Sketched some koi as well. Perhaps next time I'll do some orchids.
If you've never been to G.P.C. you need to check it out. It's worth the drive and helps break up the winter blahs. http://www.garfieldgardensconservatory.org/
