Drawing Homework

This is my latest drawing homework.

Done entirely at home. Required: small drawing, even smaller inset, a border and something like a metaphor. (tire tracks say innocence in the top corner.)

3D

My first project in 3D class has been alot of fun and very challenging. Even though not everything I took a picture of made the final cut, I have some that I really like.

knex adventure

So my Dad brought over his Knex and we worked on a fun idea that I had. I want to make a roller coaster that goes all the way around my dinning room.

This is what we had at the end of the first day.

first snow of the year!

Big, wet flakes that practically splash when they hit the ground. Tried to catch one so that you could see it.

Art School

I've realized that I've shared none of my homework from Art School. This is one assignment from Drawing II- My skeletal self. We did a lot of figure drawing! Understanding the bone structure and how it effects the surface of the body was the main idea.

I spent hours upon hours on this one. Graphite and colored pencil. The Prof. requested it and had it posted in the hallway for most of this semester. :-)

Thankful tree

The first ever thankful tree.

As promised here is an update on my Christmas tree covered in garland on which is written all the things I am thankful for...

Not represented on the tree is how many hours I've been working and was therefore unable to sit down and write thankful things out.

I did enjoy this artwork. I think I'll do it again next year. Perhaps then I'll be able to wrap it around.
