Tuesday art "class"

I've decided to set aside chunks of my week as if I had an art class to attend. Tuesday nights are now "art class' nights. This is my first drawing...

I'm toying with the idea of adding little glow worms with glow-in-the-dark paint. It would make it more fun!

All of my quilt blocks are cut! 

This memory quilt contains all kinds of prints, t-shirts, work polo, the infamous multicolored jacket, etc. It's a little bit of everything post-collage. Let's see if i can knock out this New Years resolution before it gets too warm to use it. 

plan 2014

After a huge day of sorting though all of my material horde with my nieces I have a plan for 2014. I will attempt three major sewing projects. And IF by the end of the year I have not used the material I must get rid of it! I'll keep you updated here on my blog as new art as it is made.

Castle

The extra block was put to use. Instead of a garage pad, I now have a castle!

humph, rain!

I repaint the red every year in July. Today it decided to rain within 5 minutes of me finishing! It was a perfectly pretty morning too. But no~ had to make the last few stripes runny.  Ah well, that part will fade by next year and i'll paint it again.
