painting, still life, the interesting parts

 

The string of beautiful leaves popped off the plant a few weeks ago. I stuck it in the test tube polygon that i made a few years ago. It was so perfect that i had to paint it. It turned out really well. 

The problem is that the rest of the room and accompanying rose would have taken SO much time and been SO detailed that i decided to stop with the main idea. Yup.
